Client – A highly successful (>$500M dollar revenue), global, healthcare manufacturing company.
Challenge – Develop short and long term gross margin improvement plan and execute to that plan.
Solution – Ran multiple workshop/kaizen events including a detailed production event to improve production line efficiency. Over the course of 5 days we worked with the local team to study the process, develop ideas for the new process, then we executed the process and had the new lines running in the same week.
Result – The team targeted a 30% increase in productivity across 1 production line. The team achieved a 95% productivity gain in just 1 week on that line, and then copied the changes to 2 more production lines in the same week.
